The Nevada Community Foundation strongly condemns the violent and unpatriotic actions of those who seek to prevent the long-standing Constitutional processes that shape our government, hold firm our republic, define our democracy and sustain our nation.
A peaceful transition of power is foundational to who we are as a country, as a community and as citizens of the United States of America. As we emerge from these darkest of days, we stand firm in our belief that we have a responsibility to each other to promote meaningful civic engagement, and economic inclusion and opportunity for all. Above all else, no matter the challenges we face, we remain committed to respecting and protecting peace, civility and the democratic principles that create the freedoms we enjoy.
