The Bill Walters Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame and Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association Scholarship Application 2024

    The Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame (LVGHOF) and the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association (SNJGA) are pleased to jointly announce the application process for the 2024 Bill Walters Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Scholarship and the 2024 Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association Scholarship.

    High school seniors from Clark County and Nye County, actively participating in the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association, must submit their scholarship applications by 4:00 PM on January 12, 2024.

    These scholarships, crafted to support the ongoing educational development of Southern Nevada’s junior golfers, will cover tuition and related expenses at a community college, university, trade, or technical school over a four-year or eight-semester period.

    Any eligible high school senior from Clark County and Nye County, Nevada, who is currently a member of SNJGA or had an active membership that expired no earlier than one year from graduation, is encouraged to apply. Take the time to carefully review the application instructions and then email the completed applications to the Nevada Community Foundation.

    This is a fillable application form. Please submit only one form. Your application will automatically be considered for both scholarships.

    Please answer all questions and indicate N/A if it does not apply to you.

    Once completed, you will need to do the following –

    1. Save the application form using your name and submission date. For example – Jane Ramos 10-20-2023
    2. Scan and attach all supporting documents. In addition to the main application form, please include your essay, the official school report, transcript, and the household information form.
    3. Email both the application form and supporting documents, in ONE EMAIL to: ncfsupport@nevadacf.org. Please note that it is the responsibility of the students to collect the supporting documentation into one email submission. On the subject line of the email indicate the student’s full name

    The email will be routed to Jane Ramos, VP of Donor Services and COO. You will receive an automated email receipt informing you that your application has been received. Please do not follow up with a phone call or email to NCF unless you did not receive the automated email receipt. Thank you.

    The deadline is 4:00 PM, January 12, 2024. Applications must be emailed by that date to be eligible. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
