Cox Charities, the philanthropic arm of Cox Communications, Las Vegas, in partnership with its fiscal partner Nevada Community Foundation, is pleased to invite local nonprofit organizations to apply for grants during this grant cycle
Grants are intended for programs that support one or more of Cox Charities’ philanthropic focus areas including children/families, education/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), diversity, and/or environment/sustainability. Programs and services should address one or more of the following:
- Overcoming disabilities
- Leadership development
- Mentoring
- Arts and culture
- Literacy
- Social skills development
- Safe and healthy lifestyles
- Environmental issues/sustainability
- Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM)
- Other areas benefiting youth
Individual grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000. Cox Charities will fund only program-related expenses, including activities, materials and supplies that are directly related to the provision of services, etc., restricted to local needs in Southern Nevada. Funding will NOT be given for general operations or staff salaries/wages.
