Gian F. Brosco, Esq.
President

As President of Nevada Community Foundation, Gian is the chief executive leading our team of foundation professionals, and brings to the community foundation more than twenty years' experience in the field of philanthropy.  Prior to joining Nevada Community Foundation, Gian worked at The Rhode Island Community Foundation as senior development officer and gift planning advisor and served as philanthropic service officer/vice president for the Philanthropic Management Group of the U.S. Trust Bank of America, where he counseled institutional and private clients and provided expertise for Bank of America on the subjects of philanthropy, planned giving, investment policy, fiduciary and tax matters.  An experienced attorney, Gian received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgetown University and completed his Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law in 1990.  Admitted to the Bars in Rhode Island and Texas, Gian has spoken extensively on the subjects of philanthropy and social change and is a member of the Tax-Exempt Organization Committee of the American Bar Association.  Please call our office at 892-2326 to schedule a meeting with Gian, or email him at gian.brosco@nevadacf.org.

Keith Latham

A resident of Las Vegas for more than 63 years, Keith graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and a major in accounting.  He spent eighteen years with Clark County as Business Manager in the Department of Aviation, as Assistant Clark County Treasurer and as Clark County Treasurer.  Additionally, he served as Chief Finance Officer for eleven years with the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County.  Keith is married and has four sons and two stepsons.

Jane Ramos

Jane is the newest member to the Foundation's management team. She has over twelve years' experience in management and administrative functions for executive leadership. She has extensive experience in both corporate and not for profit environments and has assisted a variety of C-level executives and senior management. Her recent experience in the nonprofit sector includes serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO for Gilda's Club Worldwide, a New York City-based national cancer support organization founded by actor Gene Wilder in memory of his late wife, comedian Gilda Radner, and Boys Hope Girls Hope of Nevada, a year-round residential academic program for at-risk children ages 10 to 18. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Psychology from the University of St. Tomas in the Philippines. She and her husband have recently made Las Vegas their home, having moved from New York City.

Liz Vohwinkel

Elizabeth was born in Southern California and moved from Oregon to Las Vegas in 1994.  She began her career in the hospitality industry at The Venetian Hotel, where she worked in hotel management, and was awarded employee of the year in 2002.  Pursuing her desire to work with the local senior population, Elizabeth went on to serve as a senior sales director for one of the country’s largest assisted living companies.  Her community relationships then led her to Caring Nurses Home Care, where she quickly brought the company to the leading market position and the top 1% of home care companies nationwide.   Elizabeth most recently served as Administrator and Marketing Director for a Nevada law firm, expanding her marketing focus to broad multi-media efforts.  Currently, Elizabeth serves as a Philanthropic Advisor for the non-profit community in Southern Nevada.

Elizabeth has a passion for volunteerism.  She continues to work towards her mission of fostering compassion and understanding in the Las Vegas community, and uniting people through volunteering.  She is involved with many local charitable organizations on various levels, from hands on volunteering to planning and administration. Among other roles, she currently serves on the board of Nevada Gives and is a United Way Corporate Engagement Committee member.  

Elizabeth enjoys an active lifestyle, and in her spare time enjoys competitive distance running, cycling and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and three dogs.  She is also an avid reader and loves cooking for family and friends.  

Richard Fox

Richard L. Fox, Esq. is an attorney specializing in philanthropy and charitable giving, who advises individuals and charities throughout the country.  Mr. Fox is a partner with the law firm of Dilworth Paxson LLP, where he heads up the Philanthropic and Nonprofit practice. He concentrates his practice in the areas of charitable giving, donor-advised funds, private foundations, tax-exempt organizations, estate planning, and trusts and estates.  Mr. Fox is the author of the treatise, Charitable Giving; Taxation, Planning and Strategies, a Warren, Gorham and Lamont publication, writes a national bulletin on charitable giving, and writes and speaks frequently on issues pertaining to charitable giving and philanthropy.  He is a member of the advisory board of the Estate Planning Journal and is a commentator on philanthropic issues for Leimberg Information Services, Inc.  He is also a member of the American College Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy Board of Advisors, where he previously headed the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy Program as the Sallie B. and William B. Wallace Chair in Philanthropy.  Mr. Fox, who holds an LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University School of Law, is a frequent contributor to the Estate Planning Journal. He was recently named by Worth Magazine as one of the Top 100 Attorneys in the country representing affluent families and individuals, including in the areas of philanthropy and estate planning. 

Cyndy Ortiz Gustafson

Cyndy Ortiz Gustafson is a native Nevadan and a graduate of Washington State University, where she received a Masters Degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law.  Cyndy received a full Graduate Fellowship with the Women's Research and Education Institute to spend a year in Washington, D.C. working in the United States Senate for Senator Dianne Feinstein from California.  She has worked for the Oregon State University Foundation, served as a Ways and Means Committee Attache in the Nevada State Legislature and testified before the Nevada State Legislature.  She has also served as the Agency Relations Manager for the United Way of Southern Nevada, where she ran the Accreditation Process for the Las Vegas Valley.  As Principal of Strategic Progress, LLC, Cyndy provides strategic organizational and fund development consulting, as well as government and public affairs consulting to her clients, which include Nevada Public Radio, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, St. Jude's Ranch for Children, the Clark County Office of the Regional Homeless Coordinator, and nationally, Robert F. Kennedy Jr's Waterkeeper Alliance.

Jennifer Ouellette

Jennifer Ouellette brings valuable quantitative analysis expertise to her work with the Nevada Community Foundation.  A graduate of the University of Southern California with a Masters Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Nevada,Las Vegas, Jennifer has more than eight years' experience as a consultant with national and local financial advisory firms, including Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Applied Analysis.  Currently engaged in social services systems reform for the child welfare, juvenile justice, and K-12 educational systems, Jennifer also works with the Nevada Community Foundation on a systems evaluation project on behalf of the Clark County Office of the Regional Homeless Coordinator.   She is a graduate of the 2009 class of Leadership Las Vegas and the 2010 Duke University Nonprofit Management Program.

Stacey Wedding

A native Nevadan, Stacey Wedding boasts 15 years of high level experience in philanthropy, and is often referred to as “the go to source” in Southern Nevada for anything philanthropic. She worked on the executive management team of the Nevada Community Foundation for seven years before she established Professionals in Philanthropy, LLC, a boutique philanthropic advising firm, in 2006. Her firm provides organizational development, customized training, strategic planning and strategic advising to a variety of philanthropies (family foundations, corporate giving programs, individual philanthropists) and nonprofit organizations. Some of her current and past clients include the Ritter Charitable Trust, Nevada Women’s Philanthropy, NV Energy, Boyd Gaming Corporation, Three Square, Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Camp To Belong International and Spread the Word Nevada—just to name a few. Stacey holds a B.A. in Communications from UNLV, where she graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College. She also received the prestigious Board of Regents UNLV Undergraduate Scholar of the Year Award and later was awarded the 2004 Outstanding Alumnus Award for her support of the Honors College. She is a proud graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2003.
