Nevada Women's Philanthropy 2009 Grant Awards

The Nevada Community Foundation is proud of its strategic partnership with Nevada Women's Philanthropy (NWP), a vanguard in community investing across the philanthropic landscape, nationally. NWP's thorough, disciplined approach to community engagement is the hallmark of community foundations, everywhere.

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is the winner of NWP's 2009 grant in the amount of $320,000. This grant will support their Children's Attorney Project's Early Intervention Program to provide free legal representation to abused and neglected children in our child welfare system. NWP's runner-up, Three Square, is the recipient of an unrestricted $50,000 Founder's Gift grant in recognition of their dedication throughout our process and service to our community.
