Audit of NCF Annual Competitive Grantmaking Program

In its ongoing effort to better serve the community in southern Nevada, the Nevada Community Foundation has recently retained an outside consultant to conduct an audit of its annual competitive grantmaking program. The purpose of the audit is to determine what changes, if any, could be made to ensure NCF moves toward its strategic goal of measurable community impact. The consultant will present the results of the audit and any recommendations at the Foundation's February 2010 board meeting. At that meeting, the Board will determine what changes, if any, will take effect, with respect to the existing grantmaking process, and if so, when. As soon as the Board has voted on this matter, NCF will communicate the outcomes to nonprofits, so they can plan accordingly.
